Melchior Global Equity Fund (MGEF)
Nick Mottram joined DSP in March 2010. Prior to joining the firm he was a founder and the managing partner of Origin Asset Management LLP and a global equity portfolio manager. Before Origin, he had been Head of Equities and the lead global equity portfolio manager at Investec Asset management from 2000-2004, and prior to Investec he had been Global Head of Research at Schroder Investment Management.
The Melchior Global Equity Fund was launched on 2nd August 2010. Its aim is to outperform the broadest global equity benchmarks significantly over time. To do this the manager searches systematically throughout the world’s stock markets, irrespective of domicile, industry or size, to pick stocks which demonstrate evidence of a combination of strong business characteristics which are not currently being recognised in their share prices, with continuing momentum in both their business and share price performance.
