Rupert Caldecott

Rupert worked for the Schroder group for 28 years, including periods as managing director of its securities and private wealth management businesses.   He was latterly a director of Cazenove Capital Management. He has a degree in Modern languages from Worcester College, Oxford.

John Cotton

John has worked principally on business development and relationship management globally since October 2003.  Between 1981 and 1992 he created, as its Managing Director, a private banking group in London, the Channel Islands and Nassau for the Banque Belge Group (now Mees Pierson/Fortis).  From 1992 over the next eleven years he was a Managing Director of Mercury Asset Management, and, after its acquisition, by Merrill Lynch Investment Managers developing its private client and family office business domestically and across the world.  In both these positions he travelled frequently in South East Asia and was, inter alia, a Director of Mercury's Hong Kong subsidiary.

Andrea Di Nisio

Andrea joined Dalton Strategic Partnership in September 2009.  He started his investment career in Milan in 1998 with the private client team of Schroders Italia.  In 2001 he moved to London to join the international team of Schroder & Co. where he specialised in providing investment services on a discretionary basis to European private clients.  From 2002 until 2007 he worked for Cazenove Capital as a fund director covering international private clients and family offices and then worked for Merrill Lynch Portfolio Managers as a director in discretionary portfolio management for European private clients.  Andrea has a degree in Economics from L.U.I.S.S. - G. Carli University, Rome (Italy).

 

Steve Golann

Steve Golann, Partner, managed Mercury Asset Management International's U.S. business for 13 years from 1989 to 2001, where he was responsible for packaging and marketing Mercury's specialist equity products.  He began his career as a pension consultant with A.G. Becker and worked as a Managing Director at two international investment firms, Wertheim Philippe and Focus Investment Group.  Steve has a B.A. degree in Economics from Trinity College and a J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School.

Richard Jones

Before joining Dalton Strategic Partnership in 2006 Richard was Head of Pan European Sales at First State Investments in London. Richard and his team were responsible for the distribution of First State's long only and hedge fund products, collective and segregated, to European wholesale institutions and intermediaries. Prior to joining First State in 2001, Richard was responsible for the distribution of JP Morgan investment funds into sections of the UK intermediary market. Before joining JP Morgan in 1998, he was responsible for the regional distribution of investment funds for Fidelity Investments in the UK. Richard joined Fidelity in 1994.
